A total of 100 employees of Pupuk Indonesia Group participated in the community action program titled “Ajang Kolaborasi Seluruh Insan (AKSI)” in Sumbersewu Village, Muncar District, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. The program, officially opened by Tina T. Kemala Intan, Director of Human Resources & General Affairs of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), on Sunday (August 17, 2025), is part of the company’s effort to foster empathy and employee engagement with the community.

Tina explained that this AKSI initiative is part of the company’s Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program and involves Pupuk Indonesia Group employees from various business units. Employees directly participate in carrying out TJSL activities within the operational areas of Pupuk Indonesia Group.

“Last year we were in Dieng, and now we’re in Banyuwangi. We are obligated to implement TJSL to cultivate empathy and concern for the community. Employees of Pupuk Indonesia Group should not only focus on generating profit but also on creating meaningful impact. This is not just a corporate obligation—it’s a responsibility for all employees,” Tina stated.

She further expressed her hope that AKSI, as an annual initiative, can inspire Pupuk Indonesia Group employees to contribute positively to society while supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs). Tina emphasized that as Pupuk Indonesia Group’s performance continues to grow, the company’s contribution to the community will also increase. “Let us make AKSI part of our corporate culture, emphasizing collaboration, especially with stakeholders in Pupuk Indonesia Group’s operational areas, to support the sustainability of our business,” Tina added.

At the same event, Junianto Simare Mare, Senior Vice President (SVP) of TJSL at PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), added that AKSI 2025 runs from August 16 to 20, 2025 in Sumbersewu Village. A total of 100 active employees from Pupuk Indonesia Group were selected as participants through a competitive registration process.

Breakdown of AKSI Participants:

3. Pupuk Kujang: 20 employees

4. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur: 5 employees

5. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang: 26 employees

6. Pupuk Iskandar Muda: 17 employees

7. Rekayasa Industri: 2 employees

8. Pupuk Indonesia Niaga: 1 employee

9. Pupuk Indonesia Logistik: 1 employee

“All employees are staying with local residents instead of hotels,” Junianto explained. “They will experience daily life in Sumbersewu Village and explore its existing potentials.” AKSI Program Structure, the 100 employees are divided into four main action pillars with multiple sub-programs:

All these activities are designed to support economic development and strengthen the local ecosystem in Sumbersewu Village. “We hope that the contributions of Pupuk Indonesia Group employees bring lasting benefits to the entire community,” Junianto concluded. Leadership Participation & Next Host Announcement The opening ceremony of AKSI 2025 was attended by directors of Pupuk Indonesia’s subsidiaries, whose employees served as volunteers, including:

- Director of Finance & General Affairs, Pupuk Kujang

Representatives from other subsidiaries, in 2025, Petrokimia Gresik served as the host, while Pupuk Kujang Cikampek acted as the co-host. During the event, a draw was held to determine the next hosts for AKSI 2026, resulting in Pupuk Kalimantan Timur being selected as host and Pupuk Indonesia Niaga as co-host.
