PT Pupuk Indonesia reaffirms its commitment to optimizing the distribution of subsidized fertilizer across all regions of Indonesia as part of its efforts to support the acceleration of National Food Security. One of these efforts is the Coordination Meeting for the Optimization of Subsidized Fertilizer Distribution in the Central Java and Yogyakarta (DIY) regions.

The coordination was carried out to ensure that farmers can easily access subsidized fertilizer ahead of the October–March planting season. Held in Semarang on Thursday (October 16, 2025), the meeting was led directly by the General Manager of Regional 2 PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), Muhammad Ihwan Fahrurrazi, and attended by regional officers and all Subsidized Fertilizer Distribution Business Actors (PUD) from Central Java and DIY.

Through the new regulatory framework governing the distribution of subsidized fertilizers as stipulated in the Minister of Agriculture Regulation (Permentan) No. 15 of 2025, which serves as the implementing regulation of Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 6 of 2025 on the Governance of Subsidized Fertilizers, Pupuk Indonesia bears full responsibility for the distribution of subsidized fertilizers up to the recipients at the Delivery Points (Titik Serah).

Ihwan stated that as of mid-October 2025, Pupuk Indonesia for the Central Java and DIY regions has distributed a total of 880,090 tons of subsidized fertilizer, equivalent to 113% of the allocation up to October 2025. “Central Java and DIY are ready to welcome the planting season,” he added.

PT Pupuk Indonesia urges all Distribution Business Actors (PUD) to continue strengthening synergy and coordination with the local Agricultural Offices in their respective districts or working areas regarding the distribution of subsidized fertilizers.

In addition, Ihwan reminded both the Distribution Business Actors (PUD) and the Fertilizer Recipients at the Delivery Points (PPTS) to maintain administrative order and ensure proper distribution of subsidized fertilizers in compliance with the prevailing regulations and governance procedures. He particularly emphasized the importance of maintaining the Maximum Retail Price (HET) when farmers purchase fertilizers at official kiosks.

Pupuk Indonesia has now enhanced its digital monitoring and real-time reporting systems to ensure transparent and accountable distribution of subsidized fertilizers. “We remind kiosks and PPTS not to dare sell fertilizers above the HET. With our strong digital system, we are confident that any violations can be immediately detected and dealt with swiftly and firmly — even within less than 24 hours,” he concluded.
