PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) Collaborates with the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) of the Republic of Indonesia to Hold a “Socialization of Subsidized Organic Fertilizer Distribution” in Wonogiri, Central Java, Thursday (October 23, 2025).

This activity is part of the company’s effort to encourage the optimization of subsidized fertilizer absorption toward the end of the year, as well as preparation for the input of the 2026 Electronic Definitive Group Needs Plan (e-RDKK).

The General Manager (GM) of Regional 2 Pupuk Indonesia, Muhammad Ihwan F, stated that Pupuk Indonesia fully supports the Government’s efforts to achieve national food self-sufficiency in line with the vision of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, as outlined in Asta Cita. One of these efforts is ensuring the availability of subsidized fertilizers, including Petroganik organic fertilizer, which contributes to building sustainable agriculture.

“Subsidized organic fertilizer, or Petroganik, offers significant benefits in maintaining soil fertility, improving land structure, increasing fertilizer efficiency, and sustaining the agricultural ecosystem,” Ihwan said before the audience consisting of Farmer Group Associations (Gapoktan), Subsidized Fertilizer Recipients at Delivery Points (PPTS), Distribution Business Operators (PUD), Agricultural Extension Officers (PPL), and other stakeholders.

He also noted that optimizing the absorption of subsidized organic fertilizer requires cross-institutional collaboration. This initiative aims to ensure equal dissemination of information, fertilization education, and supervision of fertilizer redemption at official kiosks—now referred to as delivery points (PPTS)—including in Wonogiri Regency.

On this occasion, Pupuk Indonesia also socialized the policy of reducing the highest retail price (HET) by 20 percent, which took effect on October 22, 2025. The new HETs are as follows: Urea IDR 1,800/kg, NPK Phonska IDR 1,840/kg, NPK Cocoa IDR 2,640/kg, ZA IDR 1,360/kg, and Petroganik IDR 640/kg. This policy was directly announced by Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman recently.

Furthermore, Ihwan added that Pupuk Indonesia is ready to support the implementation of the 2026 e-RDKK to make the management of subsidized fertilizers more transparent, accountable, and efficient.

“We realize that the success of this program can only be achieved through intensive communication, strong coordination, and a spirit of mutual cooperation. The Pupuk Indonesia Group is fully committed to supporting it,” he emphasized.

At the same event, Director of Fertilizer at the Ministry of Agriculture, Jekvy Hendra, explained that optimizing the distribution of subsidized fertilizers must be supported by accurate data. Therefore, he invited all stakeholders to help ensure the success of the 2026 e-RDKK program.

“We came here to provide understanding to all our colleagues. When entering RDKK data, all farmer groups must be gathered—not just individuals. Verify with the entire farmer group whether the land matches or not. Please carry out selective verification before inputting the data into the RDKK,” he said.

Jekvy also added that the Government has implemented several transformations in the management of subsidized fertilizer distribution in 2025, making it more accessible, accountable, and transparent for farmers. These changes include real-time and easier fertilizer redemption, redemption available from January 1, 2025, accelerated procurement contract implementation, and an integrated system where e-RDKK can be updated throughout the year.

Subsidized Fertilizer Absorption in Wonogiri

As of October 21, 2025, farmers in Wonogiri had redeemed 38,426 tons of subsidized fertilizer, equivalent to 63 percent of the 2025 allocation of 61,372 tons. The fertilizer has been absorbed by 83,944 farmers registered in the e-RDKK, while 77,300 farmers have yet to make transactions.

Meanwhile, the total subsidized fertilizer redemption across Central Java Province as of October 21, 2025, reached 986,610 tons, or 70 percent of the 2025 allocation of 1,409,522 tons.

To meet farmers’ needs, Pupuk Indonesia has provided 135,819 tons of subsidized fertilizer stock for registered farmers in Central Java. Of this total, Wonogiri Regency has a stock of 4,635 tons, consisting of 1,535 tons of Urea, 2,820 tons of NPK, and 280 tons of organic fertilizer.
