PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) has once again been included in the list of “Most Trusted Company” at the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) Awarding Indonesia Trusted Company 2025, held recently in Jakarta. This highest recognition was awarded as Pupuk Indonesia successfully optimized digitalization in the implementation of Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 6 of 2025 on the Governance of Subsidized Fertilizers.

Director of Risk Management of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), Ninis Kesuma Adriani, stated that through Perpres 6/2025, the Government has carried out significant transformations in the governance of subsidized fertilizer distribution. The Government has even reduced the Maximum Retail Price (HET) by up to 20 percent, a policy implemented for the first time in history.

One of the digital applications implemented by Pupuk Indonesia in enforcing Perpres 6/2025 is iPubers. Its introduction represents an important breakthrough in strengthening accountability in distribution governance while simultaneously improving services for farmers.

iPubers is a digital platform used to monitor, record, and regulate the distribution of subsidized fertilizers throughout Indonesia. The system was developed in response to the need for more modern and transparent supervision, eliminating reliance on manual record-keeping.

In its implementation, iPubers ensures that subsidized fertilizers are distributed accurately to eligible farmers; enhances transparency at every stage of distribution; supports efficient verification and fertilizer redemption; and helps the Government and Pupuk Indonesia maintain adequate stock availability in the field.

“The Government and Pupuk Indonesia can also monitor distribution data at any time without waiting for manual reports. All information is clearly recorded, minimizing the risk of misuse or diversion of subsidized fertilizers. With iPubers, subsidized fertilizer distribution becomes more transparent, accountable, and easily monitored by all relevant stakeholders,” Ninis emphasized.

Furthermore, she explained that Pupuk Indonesia continues to upgrade itself through digitalization to optimize the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). Among these efforts is the development of the GCG Assessment Application Information System (SIAP GCG), which supports assessment and self-assessment of GCG practices, as well as the Online Gratification Application of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which helps the company manage all forms of acceptance, rejection, and reporting of gratuities.

Pupuk Indonesia also operates the Risk Control Application (PRISMA), which is capable of mapping, measuring, and managing risks in business processes and corporate transactions, and has implemented the ISO 37301:2021 Compliance Management System using the COMPOS (Compliance Management Online System) application.

In addition, Pupuk Indonesia has strengthened the implementation of the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP), Employee Asset Declaration Reporting (e-LHKPN), and the Conflict of Interest Management Program (PIONIR), which is realized through an annual integrity pact as a commitment to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics. Lastly, Pupuk Indonesia has also implemented a Whistleblowing System (WBS) that is integrated with the KPK and carried out in cooperation with the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).

“Pupuk Indonesia consistently supports the Government’s efforts to improve the governance of subsidized fertilizer distribution by committing to governance and compliance across all lines of business, thereby realizing sustainable national food security,” Ninis stated.

Meanwhile, the CGPI Awarding Indonesia Trusted Company 2025 is an award presented by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) in collaboration with Swa Magazine to companies that consistently implement GCG practices and demonstrate a strong commitment to business sustainability. A total of 52 companies participated in this program.
