Farmers in West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) expressed their happiness as subsidized fertilizer became available for redemption starting January 1, 2026. This demonstrates PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero)’s readiness to fulfill its mandate of distributing subsidized fertilizer across Indonesia to support national food self-sufficiency.

General Manager (GM) 3 of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), Taufiek, stated that, according to reports from farmer kiosks in NTB, which are now entering the fertilization period, farmers no longer need to worry. Registered farmers throughout NTB can now redeem subsidized fertilizer at official kiosks starting January 1, 2026.

“Several farmers in NTB have already successfully redeemed subsidized fertilizer on January 1, 2026. They are able to carry out fertilization according to their crops’ schedules,” Taufiek said.

The fertilizer redemption process for farmers in NTB is relatively easy, thanks to digital systems such as iPubers, which Pupuk Indonesia has implemented at all official kiosks and retailers.

Through iPubers, registered farmers simply need to visit an official kiosk with their Identity Card (KTP) or Farmer Card. They can redeem fertilizer according to their allocation and the latest Maximum Retail Price (HET), which the Government has reduced by 20 percent.

Taufiek also added that in 2026, the Government allocated national subsidized fertilizer for both the agriculture and fisheries sectors. The allocation for agriculture is 9.55 million tons, while the allocation for fish farmers is 295,676 tons.

Subsidized fertilizer for agriculture can only be redeemed by farmers registered in the Ministry of Agriculture’s Electronic Definitive Group Needs Plan (e-RDKK). For fish farmers, registration in the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries’ Electronic Subsidized Fertilizer Provision and Distribution Plan (e-RPSP) is required.

“The success of fertilizer redemption at the very beginning of the year reflects Pupuk Indonesia’s commitment to distributing subsidized fertilizer according to the 7T principles (accurate target, type, quantity, price, timing, location, and quality),” Taufiek said.

Meanwhile, one of the NTB farmers who successfully redeemed subsidized fertilizer on January 1, 2026, is Andi from Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. A member of the Tunas Muda Satu Farmer Group (Poktan), he expressed his gratitude to the Government and Pupuk Indonesia because the fertilizer was available when needed, even at the start of the year, allowing his crops to receive nutrients according to schedule.

Similarly, Johari Sandi, a farmer from Bayan District, North Lombok, said he had also redeemed subsidized fertilizer at the UD Sri Kiosk. He expressed his gratitude as the process was easy, stocks were available, and prices were lower.

“Just by bringing my KTP, I could redeem the fertilizer. The price is also cheaper now,” he remarked.

The redemption of subsidized fertilizer on January 1, 2026, in NTB was recorded almost evenly across the regencies and cities, including Central Lombok, East Lombok, Mataram City, and West Sumbawa.
