The monitoring was directly witnessed by the Deputy of the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs, Widiastuti; Assistant Deputy Bona Kusuma; Pupuk Indonesia’s Director of Supply Chain, Robby Setiabudi Madjid; and their respective teams. Based on the monitoring results at subsidized fertilizer retail kiosks or Receiving Points at Handover (PPTS) UD Rahma and PPTS Rezky Tani, the implementation of i-Pubers has been running optimally in the field.

“We want to ensure that subsidized fertilizer distribution becomes increasingly transparent and accountable. The i-Pubers system strengthens monitoring and tracking of fertilizer redemption, ensuring that distribution is precisely targeted down to the handover points and farmers,” said Pupuk Indonesia’s Director of Supply Chain, Robby Setiabudi Madjid.

He explained that i-Pubers is an important innovation to strengthen the subsidized fertilizer distribution system in accordance with the 7T principles (right target, type, quantity, price, time, place, and quality). Through i-Pubers, the implementation of the Highest Retail Price (HET), which was reduced by the Government by 20 percent for all types of subsidized fertilizer, can also be optimally realized for farmers in Sidrap Regency.

Furthermore, he added, this strengthening of governance aligns with Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 113 of 2025 on Subsidized Fertilizer Governance, under which Pupuk Indonesia bears full responsibility for distributing subsidized fertilizer to beneficiaries in the field.

Meanwhile, Sidrap Regency has been allocated 6,347 tons of subsidized fertilizer for 2026, consisting of Urea and organic fertilizer. As of early February 2026, the realization of subsidized fertilizer redemption in Sidrap reached 4,646 tons, or approximately 8 percent of the total allocation.

Pupuk Indonesia hopes that the realization of fertilizer redemption will continue to increase in line with the optimization of subsidized fertilizer distribution, including through the implementation of i-Pubers, which strengthens monitoring down to the kiosk level. In addition to monitoring the distribution system, Pupuk Indonesia also ensures that the availability of subsidized fertilizer in Sidrap Regency remains secure to meet farmers’ needs. As of February 5, 2026, subsidized fertilizer stock at Line II and Line III warehouses in Sidrap amounted to 2,426 tons of Urea and 1,087 tons of NPK Phonska.

To optimize distribution, Pupuk Indonesia in Sidrap also has an extensive distribution network. There are a total of 61 official PPTS outlets spread across various sub-districts. With sufficient stock and an adequate distribution network, Pupuk Indonesia ensures that farmers in Sidrap can obtain subsidized fertilizer in accordance with government regulations and pricing.

At the same event, Deputy of the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs Widiastuti stated that this monitoring and evaluation effort is an important step in ensuring that subsidized fertilizer policies truly benefit farmers as the frontline of national food security. Through collaboration between the Government and Pupuk Indonesia, strengthening subsidized fertilizer governance is expected to increase agricultural productivity, support farmer welfare, and accelerate the achievement of national food self-sufficiency.
