During the event, Pupuk Indonesia presented an overview of subsidized fertilizer distribution policies in accordance with government regulations, while also strengthening understanding among local stakeholders, ranging from regional government officials and kiosk owners or Fertilizer Recipients at Handover Points (PPTS) to beneficiary farmers. The socialization was also attended by Member of Commission IV of the DPR RI Ellen Esther Pelealu and PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) Central Sulawesi Manager, Fery Fajar Prasetyo.

On the occasion, Pupuk Indonesia’s Central Sulawesi Manager, Fery Fajar Prasetyo, emphasized that this socialization activity is part of the company’s commitment to ensuring that subsidized fertilizer is distributed in accordance with regulations down to the farmer handover points.

“Pupuk Indonesia continues to strengthen the governance of subsidized fertilizer distribution, from planning and distribution to redemption by farmers. This socialization serves as a forum to ensure that all parties fully understand the subsidized fertilizer distribution mechanism, so that fertilizer can be received by eligible farmers in a timely manner and in accordance with regulations,” he said.

He added that the Government continues to introduce farmer-friendly policies, including adjustments to the Highest Retail Price (HET) of subsidized fertilizer to make it more affordable for farmers.

Meanwhile, Member of Commission IV of the DPR RI Ellen Esther Pelealu expressed appreciation for Pupuk Indonesia’s efforts to strengthen subsidized fertilizer distribution in the field.

“We support Pupuk Indonesia’s efforts to ensure that subsidized fertilizer is properly distributed to farmers. Collaboration among all parties is crucial in supporting national food security,” Ellen stated.

Parigi Moutong Regency is one of the key agricultural regions in Central Sulawesi. Based on subsidized fertilizer distribution data, the realization of subsidized fertilizer redemption in Parigi Moutong as of early February 2026 reached 2,264 tons out of a total allocation of 33,631 tons, or approximately 7 percent.

Pupuk Indonesia also ensures that the availability of subsidized fertilizer in Parigi Moutong remains secure to meet farmers’ needs. As of February 6, 2026, subsidized fertilizer stocks at Line II and Line III warehouses in Parigi Moutong amounted to 583 tons of Urea and 711 tons of NPK Phonska.

In addition, subsidized fertilizer stocks within the distribution network of Distribution Business Actors (PUD) and Fertilizer Recipients at Handover Points (PPTS) in Parigi Moutong are also well maintained. The total subsidized fertilizer stock in the region reached 918.41 tons. To support subsidized fertilizer distribution in Central Sulawesi, Pupuk Indonesia is backed by a broad distribution network, with a total of 186 official PPTS outlets spread across various regencies and cities.

With adequate stock availability and strengthened policy socialization, the Government and Pupuk Indonesia hope that subsidized fertilizer distribution will become increasingly optimal in enhancing agricultural productivity, supporting farmer welfare, and accelerating the achievement of national food self-sufficiency.
