alembang, May 12, 2026** – PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) has successfully distributed **737,125 tons of subsidized fertilizer** across the island of Sumatra. As of April 30, 2026, this realization had reached **33 percent** of the total government allocation of **2,228,539 tons**.

Regional Chief Executive Officer 1 of Pupuk Indonesia, **Eko Suroso**, stated that the Company's success in distributing subsidized fertilizer was made possible through the support and collaboration of all partners and stakeholders, including Distribution Business Operators (*Pelaku Usaha Distribusi* or PUDs), as well as regional agricultural agencies.

> “We can affirm that the high realization of subsidized fertilizer distribution across Sumatra is inseparable from the Government’s policies in the fertilizer sector. Through these policies, the Government has simplified the fertilizer redemption process through the i-Pubers application and implemented a reduction in the Highest Retail Price (HET), which has been in effect since October 2025,” said Eko during a Media Gathering event held in Palembang, South Sumatra, on Tuesday (May 12, 2026).

In an effort to strengthen a more transparent and accountable subsidized fertilizer distribution system, Eko explained that Pupuk Indonesia, through its Regional Sales Division 1, will continue to collaborate with key stakeholders, including media organizations, Distribution Business Operators (PUDs), and local governments.

According to Eko, this initiative forms part of the Company's strategic efforts to ensure that information regarding fertilizer policies and distribution, particularly subsidized fertilizer, is communicated openly, accurately, and effectively to the public.

> “Transparency remains one of our core commitments. The media plays a strategic role in ensuring that the information received by the public, particularly farmers, is not only timely but also accurate and balanced,” he said.

The event was attended by representatives from various media platforms, including electronic, print, and online media, alongside representatives of the South Sumatra PUD Association, fertilizer distributors operating in South Sumatra, and officials from the South Sumatra Provincial Agriculture and Fisheries Office.

On the same occasion, **Yoyo Supriyanto**, Senior Manager of Regional 1 Sales Support at Pupuk Indonesia, explained that the Company's success in distributing 737,125 tons of subsidized fertilizer across Sumatra was driven by several strategic measures. These included strengthening supervision, improving coordination with PUDs and distributors, and ensuring that fertilizer is distributed in accordance with regulations and farmers’ needs through the implementation of the **“Seven Rights” (Tujuh Tepat)** principle: the right time, quantity, location, price, type, quality, and recipient.

> “The discussion was highly dynamic, reflecting participants’ strong attention to fertilizer distribution issues, ranging from the latest policies to implementation challenges in the field. Inputs from the media, distributors, and local governments have become an important part of refining our strategies going forward,” said Yoyo.

Yoyo added that through this activity, the Regional Sales Division 1 positions itself not only as a distributor but also as a strategic partner in supporting sustainable national food security through transparent and accountable fertilizer governance.

Representatives from the South Sumatra Provincial Agriculture Office also emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration in maintaining agricultural production stability, which heavily depends on the timely and targeted availability of fertilizers.

Representing the media, **Dwitri Kartini**, General Manager of Sumeks Group, stated that transparency and openness of information from the Company would directly contribute to the quality of reporting in the field.

> “Strong synergy between the Company and the media will produce clearer and more educational information for the public. This is particularly important when addressing strategic issues such as fertilizer distribution,” she said.

The event concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen communication, enhance information transparency, and maintain sustainable synergy among the Company, the media, and other stakeholders
