Jakarta, September 28, 2026 – PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), in collaboration with the Pupuk Indonesia Group Employees’ Wives Association (PIKA-PI Group), is expanding promotional opportunities for its fostered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through its participation in Kriyanusa 2026, held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) from September 26 to 30, 2026. The event provides an opportunity for businesses in the traditional textiles and handicrafts sectors to showcase their products and reach a wider consumer base.
Pupuk Indonesia’s Director of Human Resources and General Affairs, Tina T. Kemala Intan, stated that the company’s participation is part of its support for the development of the creative economy. She noted that Kriyanusa serves as a platform for fostered MSMEs to showcase their products while gaining valuable experience in engaging directly with the market.
“Pupuk Indonesia views Kriyanusa as an exhibition that attracts a considerable number of visitors, making it an ideal platform to expand the market reach of products from MSMEs fostered by the Pupuk Indonesia Group, particularly in traditional textiles, fashion, and accessories,” Tina said on Monday (September 28, 2026).
Pupuk Indonesia currently fosters 3,387 MSMEs across various regions in Indonesia. Of these, 289 MSMEs operate in the traditional textiles and handicrafts sectors, spanning Aceh, Palembang, West Java, East Java, and East Kalimantan. At Kriyanusa 2026, 16 brands from Pupuk Indonesia’s fostered MSMEs are showcasing their products at the company’s booth. They are presenting a diverse range of traditional textiles and handicrafts, each reflecting its own distinctive characteristics and uniqueness. This marks Pupuk Indonesia’s second participation in the event.
Meanwhile, Chairperson of PIKA-PI Group, Tata Rahmad Pribadi, reaffirmed the association’s commitment to supporting Pupuk Indonesia’s objectives in empowering local MSMEs.
“PIKA-PI’s various programs and creative collaborations are designed to support the company’s objectives, including empowering fostered MSMEs through participation in Kriyanusa. PIKA-PI also actively strengthens empowerment initiatives to ensure the sustainable growth of fostered MSMEs,” she said.
In addition to showcasing products at the exhibition booth, Pupuk Indonesia’s fostered MSMEs are also being featured on the Kriyanusa 2026 fashion show stage. A total of 20 traditional textile pieces from three selected MSMEs, curated by Pupuk Indonesia in collaboration with PIKA-PI Group and designer Didiet Maulana, were presented in the “Lumbung Cahaya” fashion show, featuring the Svarna by IKAT Indonesia collection.
The featured products included songket, tenun bulu (woolen woven textiles), and Gedog batik, all incorporating natural colors that symbolize the fertility of the Indonesian archipelago and sustainable harvests.
The fashion show is the result of a collaboration between Pupuk Indonesia and PIKA-PI Group, showcasing the Svarna by IKAT Indonesia collection. This collaboration demonstrates how traditional textiles produced by MSMEs can be transformed into value-added fashion products while preserving their distinctive cultural heritage.
The fashion show stage also serves as a platform to introduce Indonesia’s traditional textile heritage through more creative expressions. Pupuk Indonesia hopes that this collaboration will encourage MSMEs to continue innovating and developing their products. Pupuk Indonesia and Didiet Maulana share a common vision of advancing Indonesian MSMEs. The collaboration also forms part of the company’s efforts to promote Indonesian products and culture to international markets.
Pupuk Indonesia continues to support MSME capacity development by providing various opportunities for promotion and business growth. Through these initiatives, fostered MSMEs gain not only promotional exposure but also opportunities to expand their networks and gain valuable market experience. These efforts align with Pupuk Indonesia’s commitment to supporting national economic growth, with MSMEs playing a vital role as one of the key drivers of Indonesia’s economy.
“This initiative is also part of Pupuk Indonesia’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the pillar of economic growth. Support for MSMEs is expected to contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic growth,” Tina concluded.
